We (Russian: Мы, romanized: My) is a dystopian novel by Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin, written 1920–1921. The novel was first published as an English translation by Gregory Zilboorg in 1924 by E. P. Dutton in New York. The novel describes a world of harmony and conformity within a united totalitarian state. It is believed that the novel had a huge influence on the works of Orwell and Huxley, as well as on the emergence of the genre of dystopia. A few hundred years after the One State's conquest of the entire world, the spaceship Integral is being built in order to invade and conquer extraterrestrial planets. Meanwhile, the project's chief engineer, D-503, begins a journal that he intends to be carried upon the completed spaceship. Like all other citizens of One State, D-503 lives in a glass apartment building and is carefully watched by the secret police, or Bureau of Guardians. D-503's lover, O-90, has been assigned by One State to visit him on certain nights. She is considered too short to bear children and is deeply grieved by her state in life. O-90's other lover and D-503's best friend is R-13, a State poet who reads his verse at public executions...

'If you want to make a indie film fast and on a budget then you need to read this book.' ~ Alex Ferrari (Indie Film Hustle) Improvisation is a form of performance in which the players have no script. Free of conventional methods and constraints, improv gives filmmakers and actors complete freedom to explore characters and relationships in depth and capture genuine authenticity on camera. It has played a large part in the filmmaking process for many legendary and Oscar winning filmmakers like Mike Leigh, Mark and Jay Duplass, Joe Swanberg, Christopher Guest, Lynn Shelton, Robert Altman and John Cassavetes. Now, in Improv for Indie Filmmakers, author and improv filmmaker Ivan Malekin breaks down how independent filmmakers can use improvisation in their own work to creatively collaborate with actors, speed up production, make more films, and ultimately save time and money by working efficiently at all stages of the production process. Using multiple real-world case studies, this book will illustrate the many benefits of improv and how putting away the script can lead to new discoveries, making your work fresh and exciting. It will inspire you to stop waiting for the right time or the right amount of money; the right time is now. Improv for Indie Filmmakers will show you how to make your film today. 'Insightful and fascinating look at a type of filmmaking that often gets overlooked. Great mix of theory mixed with nuts and bolts tips and methods from someone with real first-hand experience.' ~ Jason Horton (Filmmaker)

Orthodoxy (1908) is a book by G. K. Chesterton that has become a classic of Christian apologetic. Chesterton considered this book a companion to his other work, Heretics, writing it expressly in response to G.S. Street's criticism of the earlier work, 'that he was not going to bother about his theology until I had really stated mine'. In the book's preface Chesterton states the purpose is to 'attempt an explanation, not of whether the Christian faith can be believed, but of how he personally has come to believe it.' In it, Chesterton presents an original view of Christian religion. He sees it as the answer to natural human needs, the 'answer to a riddle' in his own words, and not simply as an arbitrary truth received from somewhere outside the boundaries of human experience. The book was written when Chesterton was an Anglican. He converted to Catholicism 14 years later. Chesterton chose the title, Orthodoxy, to focus instead on the plainness of the Apostles' Creed, though he admitted the general sound of the title was 'a thinnish sort of thing'. Famous works of the author G. K. Chesterton: The Ballad of the White Horse, Lepanto, The Rolling English Road, A Ballade of Suicide, The Napoleon of Notting Hill, The Man Who Was Thursday, The Ball and the Cross, Manalive, The Flying Inn, The Club of Queer Trades, The Blue Cross, The Hammer of God, The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Paradoxes of Mr. Pond.

Sell Your Photos & Videos Online
By selling my photos and videos online I have earned more than 100 thousand euros, thanks to microstocks: agencies that provide webmasters, marketers, documentary directors and anyone who wants to buy content created by others to use on their projects. As a photography enthusiast, I traveled the world with my reflex camera paying for flights and hotels with the sales of my images and videos. This was incredibly satisfying, but not easy at all, as I had to learn which subjects sold the best, how to describe my pictures and footage to be found by customers, and how to organize the production to be more efficient. Over the years I became so professional that in the end I was able to give up my job and start living the life I wanted. For those who want to start today, no big investment is needed: uploading to microstock sites is free, and the only necessary equipment is the camera you already have, or even your smartphone. The real challenge is understanding what photos and videos the buyers want. If you don't get the help of someone who has studied this business, you will have no chances for making good money. The earnings I got prove that I am the right person for you, and the explanations that I give in 'Sell your Photos and Videos Online' will make the difference between making small change and creating an income that can improve the way you live.
