Murdered By Death
'Who killed her?' asked Reynard.
'A grim reaper,' said the Necromantor.
'Lancelot, why did you kill her?' said Mortimer, turning on his son.
'It wasn't me! Why does everyone always blame me when they see a dead person,' protested the Necromancer.
'Because you are usually the killer, you psycho,' said Mortimer.
'I am not guilty now,' said the Necromancer.
'It wasn't him the reaper spoke, he had a deep bass-baritone-sounding voice,' said the Necromantor.
'I can't go that low,' said Lance, the Necromancer who was a light tenor.
'Oh, looks like we have work to do on our side, Uncle Rey,' Mortimer, who was also the local coroner, said, 'We'll deal with it!'

He did so unbothered, for all the times he had come. Before that night. He pulled out an old locket and looked at it sadly and opened it, looking at the pictures inside it. They were his daughter and her husband. The father pulled a red rose from his inside coat pocket and lay the rose on the wet road. As the father knelt laying the rose there was a noise nearby on the road like a splash in the puddle, he looked up and saw a man with a gun trained on him.
Blake Alexander, the King of Death, is captured, and no one dies while he's caught by order of his captor; who also demands the soul of his wife be returned to him, or he will kill death. The grim reapers send the Necromancer, Death's son, with the soul. The soul pleads with their husband to let her go and let Death go. What will he do? How will this end? Will Death survive this or die?
