Buy now to get the main key ideas from Anna Lembke's Dopamine Nation Today’s culture is constantly becoming more insistent on avoiding pain or discomfort at all costs, at the price of chronic overconsumption of drugs, technology, and senseless pleasures. In Dopamine Nation (2021) psychiatrist Anna Lembke explores humanity’s ongoing battle with balancing pleasure and pain in everyday life. The release of dopamine, one of the neurotransmitters responsible for pleasure, can result from all sorts of activities and medications. But people are often prone to exploiting anything that releases dopamine. Dr. Lembke argues that we should stop running away from the pain in our lives and instead seek it out. Balancing pleasure and pain may be initially painful and difficult, but will ultimately lead to more rewarding experiences, long-lasting relationships, and healthier lives.

Brain Conditions: Explanations and Depth of Personality Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Psycho
This is a combination of a series of books. 15 short books, to be exact, which are divided into the following topics: Topic 1: Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Bipolar Disorder and narcissism? If you have, this book is perfect for you. The two disorders are elaborately described and summarized. Symptoms, causes, and solutions are provided. Topic 2: Sometimes, when people are diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the diagnosis is wrong. In some cases, the condition is mistaken for borderline personality disorder, or the main essence of the disorder is still missing. We will investigate this further, as well as some of the criteria that a diagnosis like that has to meet. Topic 3: Many people have psychological issues. Some even have something we call “traumas,” either from their childhood or some earlier events in their adulthood years. Whatever we suffer from, there are usually solutions that help us progress and cope with the problems we face. One of those solutions could be cognitive behavioral therapy. This kind of therapy has been tested and has proven to work in many cases. Topic 4: What causes someone to have Borderline Personality Disorder? Well, the opinions vary, and each person’s life is different, but to point you in the right direction, we’ll discuss some patterns and common life events and traumas that can contribute to it. Topic 5: Many people try to get a grasp of what goes on in the mind of a serial killer. Today, we can at least show you a limited perspective and some solid insights in the workings of their brains. Ten other topics are included in this book bundle. So, I encourage you to pick it up and start listening.
