'La princesa y el granuja' is one of the irruptions of Benito Pérez Galdós in fantasy worlds. Leaving aside the humor of other works, although not a fine irony, the author offers us his own version of Pygmalion through Pacorrito Migajas, a poor boy who lives on the street and is madly in love with a doll he sees in the window of a store near the Puerta del Sol in Madrid. From this simple premise, the story introduces us to a fantastic universe populated by toys through a tender look that is not without harshness. In fact, the resolution of the story shows us Galdós at his most disturbing and darkest. If you ever thought that Benito Pérez Galdós was a very serious and old-fashioned author, his tales will surprise you. Diseño de portada: David Rubiales. Cover art design: David Rubiales.

The Comedy of Errors is one of Shakespeare's earliest and shortest plays. This comedy utilizes slapstick humor, word play, and mistaken identities to create a series of farcical accidents. Over time, the play's title has become an idiom used to describe 'an event or series of events made ridiculous by the number of errors that were made throughout.' In Ephesus, the law forbids entry to any merchants from Syracuse, and if they are discovered within the city, they must pay a thousand marks or be put to death. Aegeon, an old Syracusian merchant, is arrested and Solinus, the Duke of Ephesus, listens to his story of coming to the city. Long ago, Aegeon was on a sea voyage. Traveling with him was his wife, his twin sons, and their twin slaves. The family becomes separated during a tempest; Aegeon, one son, and one slave were rescued together, and the others were never to be seen again. Years later his son Antipholus and his slave Dromio left to search for their long lost siblings; after the boys didn't return, Aegeon set out to bring his son back home. Moved by this story, the duke allows Aegeon one day to get the money to pay his fine and to find his family.

[Spanish] - El comediante Fonseca
El comediante Fonseca is the exciting story of the wandering comedians who travelled across the American continent, from the Texas border to the Strait of Magellan at the beginning of the 20th century, at a time when the cinematograph and the railways changed everything. It is also the story of the Spaniards who still travelled the American continent following the old paths, when the republics were still young, as ambassadors of a shared culture. And it is, above all, the fictional life of a comedian who could be so many real comedians, narrated with the mastery of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. An endearing and amusing story.
