This is a story of two contrasting, adventurous journeys; in the world and in the wild; through exotic landscapes - geographic, emotional, and spiritual.
The journey triggered by questions of life and death which questions established beliefs; and finally even the idea of what spirituality is. Like the men of salt who wanted to measure the depth of the ocean; the only way to know is to dive-in knowing very well, one will melt and disappear into the ocean (to be harvested back into the salt again?).
You can also say it is a collection of love stories within a love story that breaks the boundaries, barriers, and definitions including the limited idea of what love is. It is about paths that do not end with experiences or even with the realization until one realizes that it is all but play, and drops the idea of an end.
Note: Book is narrated by author himself and has an accent of South Indian English.
